Mmm. The apple crostini looks great. I also made a beef bourguinon but mine was in a crockpot. It was pretty tasty but I think I will use I higher quality beef next time. What did you use?

I used plain old beef chuck. The braising method allows the meat to really tenderize so using really good cuts of meat isn't necessary. I have made filet of beef bourguignon before -- you use filet mignon steaks instead of the cubes. Very tasty.. but totally unnecessary.
